Case V8.44.0
On-Site Asset Location Column - All Cases Screen for Service Providers
The On-Site Asset Location field is now available as a column on the All Cases screen, and is editable directly from that view.
How it works:
- An Edit control appears next to the cell content. Click it to turn the cell into a text input.
- Save the change, Cancel to revert to the prior value, or Clear to empty the field.
- Entries are limited to 40 characters.
- The field is editable only while the case is open; it becomes read-only once the case is closed.
- Permissions match the existing asset field — anyone with access to the Additional Info section can edit it.
- Every change is tracked in the audit trail. Click the blue audit dot on the field to open the audit log and see the full change history.
Mobile Case - Phone Number Search
In v8.44.0, we've added the ability to search for customers by phone number in Mobile Case, matching the capability already available in desktop Case.
How it works:
- On the Customer Search screen in Mobile Case, Phone now appears as a search option below Number.
- Search behavior matches the phone-search capability already live on desktop.
- Note: Mobile Case doesn't have an "All" search option, so phone number results aren't part of a combined search there — this only applies to a direct search.
Service Advisors - Ability to Edit Customer Numbers
Location admins can now grant Service Advisors permission to edit the customer number on existing customer profiles, directly from the customer record or from within a case. This closes a common gap where a number needed correcting but only Manager-level roles could make the change, forcing Service Advisors to route the request instead of resolving it themselves.
How it works
Admin enables the setting | A location admin turns on a new setting that grants Service Advisors at that location permission to edit customer number on customer profiles (Admin>Customize Your Database>Location Information>Features>Allow Service Advisors to Edit Customer Number).
Service Advisor edits the field | With the setting enabled, the Service Advisor can update the customer number on a customer profile, whether they're viewing the profile directly or accessing it from within a case.
Coming Soon
Tico Warranty Parts Pricing
For warranty operations on cases at providers in the TICO service network, Decisiv automatically retrieves part pricing from TICO's parts system at the line-item level. This ensures warranty estimates reflect the most favorable pricing available without requiring manual lookup or comparison.
This behavior applies exclusively to warranty operations at providers in the TICO service network. Non-warranty operations and non-TICO locations continue to use existing DMS pricing behavior.
Pricing is fetched automatically once a location's TICO customer ID is configured. Locations are set up during onboarding as either P00001 (National Account In House Warranty) or P00002 (TICO Dealer or Support Center).
