Overview
For warranty operations on cases at providers in the TICO service network, Decisiv automatically retrieves part pricing from TICO's parts system at the line-item level. This ensures warranty estimates reflect the most favorable pricing available without requiring manual lookup or comparison.
This behavior applies exclusively to warranty operations at providers in the TICO service network. Non-warranty operations and non-TICO locations continue to use existing DMS pricing behavior.
Pricing is fetched automatically once a location's TICO customer ID is configured. Locations are set up during onboarding as either P00001 (National Account In House Warranty) or P00002 (TICO Dealer or Support Center).
How It Works
When a line item is marked as a warranty operation and coded with the appropriate VMRS Reason for Repair, Decisiv queries TICO for part pricing and availability simultaneously.
No additional configuration is required. Pricing is fetched automatically when the warranty conditions are met.
When TICO Warranty Pricing Applies
TICO warranty pricing is triggered only when both of the following are true:
- The case is at a TICO OEM dealer location
- The asset is TICO
- The line item is marked as warranty by setting the VMRS Reason for Repair to Code Key 38
If any condition is not met, the line item uses standard DMS pricing.
What You'll See
Parts that return TICO warranty pricing display a TICO indicator icon at the line-item level. This distinguishes TICO-sourced pricing from standard DMS pricing at a glance.
